We had a meeting today with the district librarians. I learned about different web 2.0 tools available for free on the internet. I got an idea to suggest creating a ning with two sixth grade language arts teachers. I should go ahead and mention it soon before I forget! I think it would be a good opportunity to show the other teachers what I can do. At least, what I think I can do :)
There was a great demonstration on how to use the various features in our OPAC. Sadly, after a while I think I had information overload & missed out on some key directions. Hopefully, I will figure it out on my own.
I’m trying to stay focused and open minded and not afraid to ask for help. It’s just difficult to know what to ask sometimes.
